Bully Aware

I am gay and I have been receiving a number of hateful messages over facebook for the last few weeks, what can I do to stop this?

hey pal im a one for this kinda situation,im bi and get alot of gay jokes thrown at me in college.....al inbox you coz i have helped people in these situations.....but what you can do is click on the bullies profiles and scroll down to Report/Block this person and follow the instructions.it will give you an option to chose a reason why the person needs block such as unwanted contact,fake profile,innapropriate info etc.......................so for you,click unwanted contact and it should act straight away.

You should definitely tell your parents, and a teacher if the person (or people) sending the messages goes to the same school as you.

Also, you can report people by going to their profile and clinking the link that says "Report/block this person", and just do what Elvis said to report them.

Hopefully doing this will help stop the bullying, but if it doesn't, just post again

The people that are doing this to you are judgemental insecure people, and you need to realise you are so much better than them. Your gay, so what? If people have a problem with that then they are obviously to immature to handle it. There is nothing wrong with it, and to be perfectly honest i think its amazing that you have the courage to be open about it. Cause alot of people do get bullied for it. Report them, put also try and make them think its not bothering you
