Hello, im currently recieveing phone calls from this 18 year old girl and her friends. They keep calling me on restricted numbers threatening me and shouting abuse at me. If i ignore it they just keep ringing, they have called me over 10 times in the last hour, and they just wont stop, can anyone give me some advice please? I would appreciate it so much | |

Hey Calling people repeatedly is a criminal offence in itself, but threatening you / shouting abuse is also classed as harrassment. If they keep calling you, you should threaten to report them to the police. If that doesn't stop it, then probably the best thing to do is to report them. If you know who the people calling you are, then tell the police that, and they can be arrested and could also be charged with harrassment. Good luck Jordan | |

Hey There, As Jordan said what they are doing is a Criminal Offence under Section 5 Public Order Act (I Think). The best thing to do is NOT to block them. If you can record the calls then do that and build up evidence.
